R & G Mesh Compact Purse with Sterling Top

A rare mesh purse with a sterling top in perfect condition. The compact hinges open to reveal a powder and rouge compact.

The top of the compact is enameled with hand painted flowers on a white gillouche background. The mesh enamel is blue and white. Circa 1930.
